About Us

At Well Intentions Psychotherapy, our work is centered on helping you slow down, make sense of your inner world, and reconnect with yourself in a more honest and sustainable way.

Our approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and self-compassion work. Sessions are collaborative, grounded, and paced in a way that respects where you are while gently supporting movement toward where you want to be. The focus is not on fixing you, but on helping you better understand yourself, shift unhelpful patterns, and build a more supportive relationship with your thoughts and emotions.

Well Intentions Psychotherapy was founded by Sierra Georges, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who brings years of clinical experience supporting adults through complex emotional experiences. Her role, and the role of this practice, is not to have all the answers, but to help you find your own with clarity and confidence.

You do not have to do this alone.

Our Philosophy

We believe you already have what you need to heal. You just need a space where it feels safe enough to reveal it.

Our role is to support you with compassion, curiosity, and honesty. We provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore your patterns, your pain, and your potential, without shame and without rushing your process.

Therapy at Well Intentions Psychotherapy is flexible, collaborative, and centered on your voice.

Our Approach

Every story is unique, and so is the way we work together. We draw from several evidence-based and mindfulness-centered modalities to tailor therapy to your needs, including:

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – building awareness and calm

  • Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) – cultivating inner kindness

  • Attachment Therapy – understanding connection and emotional safety

  • Psychoanalytic Therapy – uncovering the deeper “why” behind patterns

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – shifting thoughts and behaviors that keep you stuck

These approaches help you slow down, listen inwardly, and develop a stronger relationship with yourself so healing feels less like hard work and more like coming home.

Starting therapy doesn't have to be complicated.
